Driving Rain; Day 28!

Driving Rain
I am excited about this painting! I think it is a great representation of a harvest time storm that leaves the crops devastated. The painting is appealing, yet ominous. I think that it describes the passage well, too.

Hoping to do a couple of extra paintings today to catch up on my series. I have posted almost every day to the challenge site, but have missed a couple of the series from the book of Proverbs. It has been a good series for me, and has caused me to learn and remember things from this book of the Bible that I might otherwise have not really thought about.

Proverbs 28:3 (NASB) A poor man who oppresses the lowly is like a driving rain which leaves no food.

  1. This is the first time I've visited your blog. I chose your painting out or the many on Leslie's Painting Challenge page because I love abstract art. What a nice body of work you have! I love the theme of painting a verse from Proverbs every day. I may have to borrow that idea.

    1. Thanks so much! It has really been a great theme for me to work from. I think I may want to pick some similar ideas as I continue. Hope you have as much fun with it as I have!
