While some of the artists who have been part of this January painting challenge are relieved to be finished, I have to say I am sorry it is over! I have really enjoyed painting and posting, and have not felt the stress that I have noticed during the other challenges I have been part of. This has been so much fun!

This painting is a reminder to me of where my 'inheritance' is, as found in 1 Peter 1:3-4 (New American Standard Bible) "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you". What a great reminder!

      Congratulations to you, too! I have noticed your paintings frequently during the challenge - to me the toughest thing has been taking the time to look and comment on other artists' work, I am sorry to say! I will probably be going back through it in the coming days. I do really like your last day's painting, Connie. It makes me feel ready for summer!
