Any Day Now 1022 - Fall Color II

Any Day Now 1022 - Fall Color II
Yesterday was rough. A young friend passed away from cancer. She had battled it for years, and she leaves a husband and teenaged kids.

A loved one of mine went into the hospital for a simple procedure, and it became much more complex than expected. Thank God, he seems to be doing well.

And my Any Day Now painting failed. That might not seem like a really big deal to you, but it weighed on me.

4" x 4"
Painted with artist quality heavy-body acrylic paint on 1.5” deep cradled wood panel
Edges painted black

Psalm 90:12 So teach us to number our days,
That we may present to You a heart of wisdom.

At the same time, the day was beautiful, with a bright and colorful morning, and then blustery showers and clouds (and rainbows) in the afternoon. I got to go with my Beloved Husband on a trip for his work, which I love to do. And the fall color is still fabulous. So my painting for today is once again celebrating the color this fall.

By the way, in this photo you can see the paw of our cat, who didn't seem to want me to be taking photos! She seems particularly attentive today.

And finally, here is a photo of the current group of fifteen paintings. I had to grab a photo before the one that has been sold goes to it's new home! I would have loved to take the photo in a creative outdoor setting, but it is blustery again today, and I didn't think I could keep them all set for the photo.

May your day be especially full of beauty today.
