And so, on Easter morning, the victory is won! The encroaching darkness that had filled our hearts since Good Friday when the veil was torn, the sun was darkened, and our Hero was crucified, is now itself being encroached upon! And of course, darkness is not a 'thing' in and of itself - it is only the lack of the Light. Darkness cannot extinguish Light, it can only be banished by Light. That creeping, frightening nothingness that appeared to have come into its own is instead sent into the void.
