This little work was inspired by the wildflower patches my Beloved Husband has planted for me in our woods, and along our pasture fence. They are such beautiful colors, and they draw me to walk out to see them often.
Luke 12:27-28 “Consider how the wildflowers grow: They don’t labor or spin thread. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was adorned like one of these! If that’s how God clothes the grass, which is in the field today and is thrown into the furnace tomorrow, how much more will He do for you—you of little faith?"
The composition of this painting is loosely based on one I did for the Psalm 23 series I painted in 2020, and actually, the concept I was after for today is similar too. I am focusing today on the provision of God in my life, both in physical needs as well as emotional and spiritual ones. And I am rejoicing in His overflowing generosity to me.
