Happy New Year - Puppies sketch

Image
Puppies sketch I am participating in the Leslie Saeta 30 in 30 painting challenge   this January, and since I know I will still be busy celebrating with family for the next day or two, I decided to post this little sketch I did recently while I was spending time with them!  We used to raise boxer puppies. Joy II study

Image
Joy II study The second in a companion set of paintings, 'Joy II' concerns companionship (interestingly) and friendship, joy and shared direction.  The movement, both horizontal and vertical, are important, both to the painting and to personal interaction. It is significant, too to have both companion paintings expressing some of the same concepts.  Phil. 2:2 - 3 (NASB) "make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose. Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves"   study 11" x 14" acrylic on watercolor paper 1" white border

Vitally United

Image
Vitally United In response to John 15: 1-11, I am starting a short series on 'the Vine'. The concept of the life being in and from the vine (or in Scripture, the Vine, representing Christ) is an encouragement as well as a challenge to me. John 15:4  (AMP)  Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me. study 11" x 7" acrylic on watercolor paper Leave comment or contact me directly to purchase.
