Since today is the 24th birthday of my beautiful daughter, and we are going to visit her this afternoon, this blog post will be short!

Crystal is mentioned a lot in the Bible. How do you respond to a clear, faceted stone? Yesterday reinforced the idea of design first, and representation second, and that is what steered my choices for today's painting. 

Job 28:18 “Coral and crystal are not to be mentioned; And the acquisition of wisdom is above that of pearls.
Isaiah 54:12 “Moreover, I will make your battlements of rubies, And your gates of crystal, And your entire wall of precious stones.
